A muscle in the body that is often overlooked in weight training programs designed to help you gain weight is the calf. As calves are eg small muscle, they are often left more an afterthought than anything else.

More Reps

It has been shown that many young bodybuilders in the age group 18-22 use of doping products. While many of these drugs are not illegal in the United States States and other countries so it remains to be seen whether long-term effects would be beneficial.

Common Medicines

Often, bodybuilders undergraduate use performance-enhancing drugs to improve their workouts and increase their capacity mass. The pressure of being in better shape is a key indicator that this trend will continue.

The substance most commonly used is creatinine, which fortunately did not show deadly side effects. However, the points of medical science a singular truth about the building: the body must be allowed to build mass and strength on its own.

Potentially harmful

According to David M. Williams, Eileen S. Anderson, Richard E. Winett, researchers for the Journal of Sport Behavior:

"Creatine may be a gateway drug to the performance of other more harmful substances such as improving dehydroepiandrosterone (ie, DHEA) and androstenedione.

"Many anecdotal stories illustrate the undesirable side effects such as renal dysfunction, effects creatine on the body and produce insulin, diarrhea, gastrointestinal pain, muscle cramps and dehydration.

"Although that laboratory studies of the effectiveness of creatine are numerous studies in the field patterns of creatine supplementation have been rare. This is particularly true among young men, strength trainers, who are the target of marketing strategies focusing on capacity creatine to increase body mass. "

Like all performance-enhancing drugs, the drug most commonly used seems to have its own set of bad effects. On the one hand, creatinine affects the way energy is stored and used. Secondly, it affects the amount of protein used and expended during training. The essential point here is that even if the evidence is anecdotal (or interviews), potential dangers remain. Empirical evidence should not always be the foundation for signs of danger.

For a long time now, medical science was dependent on anecdotal evidence, even for the discovery of new forms of medicine. Bioprospecting for one would not be possible without the use of anecdotal data.

Causes

According to researchers, the use of steroids and similar substances to improve the weight may have a psychological precession:

"Research on the use of steroids suggests that psychological May important variables.
