bodybuilding world champion

Many people have asked me this question. And my answer is … YES!
The problem is that most textbooks of sports nutrition and resources tell athletes to eat lots of carbohydrates like pasta, bread and other cereals as a way to maximize glycogen stores.
The problem with this, however, is that most people are sensitive to these foods. In fact, there is debate even about whether the human body has evolved enough to digest even cereals.
I can tell you from my own experience that eating a big plate of pasta before a game that makes me feel tired, lethargic, and even made my body Crave simple sugars in a few hours.
So how can a raw food diet for athletes benefit?
Having played professional football and in force on pasta and bread, then transitioning to more than one system food raw foods, I can personally say that eating more raw foods can make a huge difference in your performance and your ability to recover after exercise.
First, raw foods are packed with food enzymes. These enzymes help digestion, which means that your body does not feel bloated and lethargic after your meal. This also means that your body can spend more of his energy not on digestion, but the recovery and regeneration!
Secondly, eat more raw fruits and vegetables means you will receive a huge influx of necessary alkalinity.
Why is alkalinity so important for athletes (and everyone else even less)? Well, an alkaline environment favors the oxygenation level. Considering that oxygen is needed for energy and expression body, the answer should be clear enough.
In addition, disease can flourish in an alkaline environment rich in oxygen. This was demonstrated by the winners of Nobel prizes which Otto Warburg and Linus Pauling.
Oxygen is essential for performance. Alkaline foods (fruits and vegetables) oxygenate your body!
Third, you do not need meat to be strong!
In a study published in the Yale Medical Journal, Professor Irving Fisher has conducted a study in which he compared the strength and endurance athletes consumption of meat to the vegetarian dishes (both athletic and sedentary) individuals.
The study concluded that the 3 study groups (meat consumption athletes, vegetarian athletes, and vegetarian sedentary subjects) vegetarians (y including the sedentary group) Endurance on average twice that of meat eaters athletic.
It is shown that a diet meat is less conducive to greater endurance.
Similar results were demonstrated by several studies, including that of Dr. Ioteyko Academy of Medicine of Paris, in which athletes vegetarians averaged 2 to 3 times more energy required and fifth time to recover from exhaustion compared to their consumption of meat rivals!
Some well-known athletes who are (or have summer) vegetarian (or vegan materials):
– World Champion gymnast Dan Milman
– "Mr. International" winner bodybuilding Andreas Cahling
– Large Tennis Martina Navratilova
– Olympian Carl Lewis
– Football Hall of Fame-Art Still
– Four-time "Mr. Universe" title holder, Bill Pearl (described in more detail below)
– Swimming World Record Holder Bill Pickering
– World class marathon runner Gail Olinekova
– Canadian Tri-athlete champion Brendan Brazier
If you are an athlete (or recreational exerciser) and want to have more energy, more strength, greater endurance and improve your overall performance, adoption and more raw foods into your diet will be greatly beneficial.
Try it for yourself and experience the difference!

Champion $9.56 Rated: NASynopsis: While far from the only good film on boxing, Champion is perhaps the best drama ever based on the fight game. It is remarkable for a number of things, including: the unrelenting, grinding logic that leads to the hero’s tragic fate; the beautiful cinematography and editing that make it a masterpiece of light and shadow; near-perfect performances by everyone, from Kirk Douglas as Midge Kelly, down to the actor who played a sleazy small-time ring manager; and the boost it gave to the budding careers of Douglas and others. The basic story has been told many times, but never so powerfully: A poor, ambitious boy accidentally learns that he is a “natural” boxer, and that he might “go all the way.” He wins his early fights with ease and, at last, in the big one, he becomes champion of the world. Then rot sets in. He lives it up, deserts his loved ones and best friends, and loses his physical and moral advantages. Near the end — out of condition, demoralized — the champion loses (or almost loses) his boxing crown. Finally, he grits his teeth, returns to rigorous training and to people he really likes, and he regains (or holds onto) the championship. Part of Champion’s dramatic superiority is in its brilliant revealing of the boxer through the eyes of other people in his life. There are good guys — Midge’s brother Connie (Arthur Kennedy), his tough but honest trainer (Paul Stewart), his wife Emma (Ruth Roman) and Johnny Dunne, the up-and-coming contender he eventually beats. There are bad guys — the manager who cheats him in his first, amateurish fight, two successive “owners,” of the diner where Midge and Connie try to be entrepreneurs and end up as dishwashers, the blonde siren (Marilyn Maxwell) who abandons Johnny Dunne and helps corrupt Midge, and the mob-connected promoter Harris, who gets Midge his championship bout. There are ambiguous in-betweens, like Palmer (Lola Albright) who is Harris’ wife, but who loves Midge and is, perhaps, loved in return. Then there is Midge himself. Unlike Charlie in Body and Soul (John Garfield, 1947) or the hero of the Rocky quintuplets (Sylvester Stallone, 1976-1990), Midge is not a basically nice guy who’s been led astray. His ambition, arrogance and stubbornness make him at once villain and hero. These “fatal flaws” contain, as surely as in Macbeth or Othello, the seeds of the champ’s ultimate dissolution. Midge is dealt his share of life’s unfairness and bad luck. Yet it is not the events themselves, but his bitter, violent responses to each blow that seal his doom. The final irony comes when he makes his comeback. In the last round of the last fight, his most manly virtues — bull-like strength and stubborn stamina — bring about both victory and defeat. Too bad that this wonderful film — nominated for six Oscars including “Best Actor” — won only an Academy Award for “Film Editing” (Harry Gerstad) and a Golden Globe Award for “Best Cinematography” (Franz Planer).
