Smoking is one of the worst habits you can have if you want to develop your muscles and get fit as a bodybuilder. If you smoke, you put yourself at serious risk of a "bucket load" of horrible health problems, including cancer, and as a bodybuilder you will find that smoking is detrimental to your performance. Smoking cigarettes is highly addictive because of nicotine and a habit is difficult for new bodybuilders abandon. However, if you're really determined to achieve your goals and improve your health, you must do to renounce.

The negative impacts of smoking

The main way in which the harm of smoking performance of your training and health is to reduce your lung capacity. When you workout, you need oxygen you take air into your lungs, Smoking decreases your lung capacity and therefore less oxygen is transported to the muscles, inhibiting their ability to work hard. This means that bodybuilders who smoke can not train as hard or as long as non-smokers, reducing their ability to develop larger muscles.

If you are a competitive bodybuilder, smoking long term ill effects on your appearance. Quitting smoking is not a process easy, no matter what you said, but if you are determined to be a top bodybuilder, you must leave. There are many programs in place to help you quit smoking, get your family and friends to help you and support you. Tell everyone you know that you will stop smoking it you agree to stop smoking as you will not let them down. You often hear women saying how they would like to start strength training, but they fear losing their feminine figure and its replacement by figures, muscle they see on television, while watching female bodybuilding competitions. They say they want to tone but not the risk of having big muscles strapping. This misconception is shared by most women in almost all societies. The fact of the matter is only 5 per cent of women have the genetic ability to develop a substantial amount of muscle in any way. The women you see on the steps wonders for these competitions are not only genetic, but they also use pharmaceutical products to help their bodies get there. Seeing that the majority of women there will not fall into this category its safe to say that you will benefit from weight training.

Now that we have dispelled myths look at some exercises you can do to begin to burn fat and build some lean muscle. Firstly most women that do not and the weight training of departure are under the impression that doing more repetitions with less weight is what will help them tone. This could not be further from the truth. In fact most male bodybuilders tend to raise their representatives to gain more muscle because it is tantamount to a greater workload. The key to add some muscle while maintaining your current weight (or as close as possible) is to compound lifts with low repetitions and heavy weight. Olympic weightlifters and wrestlers are known to lift weights, but their focus is not to gain muscle mass. They focus primarily on adding explosive strength and muscular endurance while maintaining their body weight as well. You have to remember for them to win even 1 pound of body weight can be devastating as it could move up a whole category their competition. Some of the best compound exercises, you can do is the squat and the deadlift earth. You might think to yourself, but this is only the lower body. It is Another misconception many people have. These two exercises effectively to recruit many of the upper body to stabilize and help lift the weight. But most important of these 2 exercises are known to be the best fat burners out of any exercise, whether aerobic or anaerobic.

The first things you need to explicitly define what your goals are. Are they to lose weight, add muscle or simply get stronger? Now you must determine exactly how many days it is that you can dedicate to your routine. Bearing in mind that 45 minutes is more than enough time for weight training session, you should try for 2 sessions per week. Stay away from typical bodybuilding routines because they are generally too long and made for those using improvements. A simple routine to start would be 4 sets of 5 repetitions of Dead lifts and squats a day, followed by 4 sets of 5 representatives of the two push-ups and dips on the day of your training. So, in other words, a day of body training more low followed by a day of training upper body. Try this routine for 6 weeks and exercises to sharpen your taste.
