women’s bodybuilding competitions

Female Bodybuilding first started coming to the forefront during the late 1970s. Before the world of competitive bodybuilding was given to men only. The 1970s were the time when female bodybuilders started participating in competitions specifically for their gender and over years, the sport has gathered a lot of respect. The earliest recorded competition among female bodybuilders can be found in the years 1960, but at the time, they were more like bikini contests rather than bodybuilding competitions. It is now believed that the potential first bodybuilding competition for women took place in 1978 in Canton, Ohio. This competition was promoted by Henry McGee and called the U.S. Women's Physique National Championship. It was different in that the competitors were judged on their muscles and not enough on how they looked bikini or swimsuit.
Just a year in 1979, there were many more women bodybuilders taking part in the increase of competition which rated healthy bodies rather than beauty alone. In 1980, the female bodybuilding competitions got their sanction. Named the National Physique Committee of organization was responsible for hosting the first national competition of the woman and she also became the amateur competition the highest Male bodybuilders for the United States. 1980 is a special year also because it was the year Ms. Olympia, the women's competition The most honored of weight, was held for the first time.
As competition becomes more involved with women increasingly training schemes are becoming more stringent. There are now championships are very competitive and no place for women who are good at posing in high heels, but are not yet well defined muscles. Not only the increase in competition, but they also meet a fan base large enough.
There are also Many films have been produced to honor the female body builders and their competitions. Major television networks have covered these events and despite some controversy over the last few years, women body building competitions have managed to remain popular. The IFBB also set up began at the Hall of Fame in the year 1999. The Hall of Fame includes the names of elite athletes in the sport of bodybuilding. From that day on 14 women body builders who were included in this Hall of Fame.
Besides women bodybuilding there are also some other related categories the main event are also included in the competition. The fitness category includes a swimsuit event and also a performance aerobics, gymnastics or dance. Another category is the figure competition in which competitors are judged on muscle tone and symmetry.
The only difference between male and female competitions is that the prize money for the latter is much weaker.
